The top address for annual general meetings and (large) congresses: the Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse

Already in the first few months, the year of 2016 promised to be a record year for the Congress Center Koelnmesse - The calendar of events included international medical congresses, meetings and annual general meetings of various stock corporations - further high-calibre congresses will now follow in the second half-year.

In September, the World Pathologists' Congress will be held at the Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse. From 25th to 29th September, up to 3,500 international visitors are expected. This will be followed by the German Tonmeistertagung  (Sound Engineers' Conference), the Graduate Congress and the VdS Brandschutztage (VdS Fire Safety) , which will be held at the Congress Center Koelnmesse. (International) congresses on this scale are also an important image factor for the congress city of Cologne.

The Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse  also continued to be an attractive venue for company annual general meetings in 2016: already in the first half of the year, BAYER AG, Covestro AG and Deutz AG were already guests.  In June, the meetings of INDUS Holding AG, Ströer SE and STRABAG AG closely followed each other. The companies appreciate the advantages of the Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse: the location close to the city centre within the grounds of the Koelnmesse and the outstanding accessibility as well as optimal connections via all traffic routes.

The Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse has a total of more than 19,500 seats - the more than 20 rooms can be adapted individually and individually to the respective requirements of the individual event. All rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art event technology.

The 1,380-square-metre Kristallsaal in the Congress-Centrum Ost is suitable for events with up to 1,500 people. The 1,000-square-metre Congress-Saal seats up to 1,100 people. The Offenbachsaal with 688 square metres has capacity for up to 650 people.

The Congress-Centrum Nord can accommodate up to 700 people in the 710-square-metre Konrad-Adenauer-Saal. The capacity is also offered by the 710-square-metre Rheinsaal,  which can be divided into several sections.

In addition, various conference rooms and spacious foyers are available in both Congress Centers, which can be used in parallel for supporting events, company presentations and congress-accompanying exhibitions.
