A historic venue for events of a very special kind.
The Bastei, once part of Cologne’s fortifications, is today a venue for top-class events. The striking round building is no longer a fortress, but a location with an exclusive atmosphere. The restaurant, which offers a stunning panoramic view across the Rhine, was designed by the Cologne-based architect Wilhelm Riphahn in 1924. Parts of it suffered later damage and were restored by Riphahn in the 1950s in line with the original building plans. Between 80 and 200 guests can enjoy fine dining inside the elegant setting. And thanks to the outstanding event infrastructure, they’re sure to feel at home right away.
