By Car
A3

• arriving from the A3 from the motorway intersection Köln-Ost, drive in the direction of Köln-Zentrum and follow the signposts in the direction of the ZOO or Zooparkhaus after crossing the Rhine.

A57

• arriving from the A57 as of the end of the motorway drive in the direction of Köln Ost/Zoobrücke (Innere Kanalstraße) and before the Zoobrücke ( bridge) take the Riehl exit, then follow the signposts in the direction of the Zoo (turn left at the first crossroads).
   

BY RAIL

• on arrival at Cologne Central change take a No. 18 tram and ride to the "Zoo/Flora" stop.

BY TRAM

• take the No. 18 tram the "Zoo/Flora" stop or the No. 140 bus line 140 takes to stop "Zoo/Flora".

BY AIR

• take the S-Bahn (suburban train) Line 13 from Cologne/Bonn Airport to "Cologne/Hauptbahnhof” and then take the tram.

Zoo-Express

The Zoo Express runs between the Zoo main entrance and the Cathedral/Roncalliplatz daily every half hour between 10 and 17 hrs.
At the Roncalliplatz there is a possibility to transfer to the “Schoko-Express" to the Imhoff-Stollwerk-Museum.

In addition, you can reach the Cologne Zoo with the Mülheimer boats and the Rhine cablecar.
 

Parking facilities

Parking is possible in the Zoo-Parkhaus, below the Zoobrücke and at the side entrance Riehler Gürtel. . On Sundays and public holidays parking is permitted on Riehler Straße in the area of the Zoo (on the right edge of road). Bus parks are at the main entrance and on the Rhine embankment.
