The first choice for annual general meetings and (large) congresses: The Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse

Already in the first few months of the year, 2016 was promising to be a record year for the Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse – on the calendar of events , there were international medical congresses, conferences and annual general meetings of various public companies - more high-profile congresses now follow in the second half of the year.

In September, the World Pathologists' Congress will be held in the Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse  From 25th to 29th September,  up to 3,500 international visitors are expected. This will be followed, among other things, by the German Tonmeistertagung, the School-leaver Congress and the VdS Fire Protection Congress, all of which will be held once again in the Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse. (International) conferences on this scale are also an important image factor for the congress city of Cologne.

The Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse, however, also continued  to be an attractive venue for annual general meetings in 2016: already in the first half of the year it played host to BAYER AG, Covestro AG and Deutz AG. In June, the meetings of INDUS Holding AG, Ströer SE and STRABAG AG closely followed each other. The companies appreciate the benefits of the Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse: The location close to the city centre on the grounds of Koelnmesse and the excellent connections and optimal accessibility with all modes of transport.

The Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse has a total of 19,500 seats - the more than 20 rooms can be individually adapted to the specific requirements of each event. All rooms are equipped with the latest event technology.

The 1,380 square-metre Kristallsaal in the Congress Centre East, is suitable for events with up to 1,500 people. The 1,000 square-metre Congress-Saal  can accommodate up to 1,100 people. The Offenbachsaal, with its 688 square meters, has capacity for up to 650 people.

In Congress-Centrum Nord, up to 700 people can be accommodated  in the 710 square-metre Konrad-Adenauer-Saal. This capacity can also be offered by the up to 710 square metre Rheinsaal, which can be divided up into several sections. In addition, a most varied selection of conference rooms and spacious foyers are available both congress centers, which can be used in parallel for supporting events, company presentations and congress-accompanying exhibitions.
